Batiki

Batiki is a grapevine variety of Asia Minor origin and is mainly cultivated in Prefecture of Larissa (viticultural area of Tirnavos with 50 ha approximately). It is sporadically cultivated in other viticultural areas occupying surface area of 500 ha until recently. Batiki is recommended for cultivation in the viticultural areas of Thessaly, Macedonia and Thrace. It is also used as table grape variety. Batiki is mentioned as Nteve Mpatiki, Ntempatiki, Ntimpi Mpatiki.
